From our own extensive experience, we know how important it is for clients to know that they are able to trust their suppliers to deliver products of excellent quality and reliability that are up to standard with both national and international food safety standards and regulations.

At Cape Deli, QA and all matters that relate thereto are owned by our involved and competent Board of Directors, from where its fundamentals are subsequently dispersed throughout the entire organisation.

Because Cape Deli as a business is so focussed on QA, we permanently employ a highly qualified and experienced individual in the position of QA manager. This employee is the custodian of food safety standards in our business and can be found on site at all times, keeping a vigilant eye on every stage of production and packaging. Ultimately, this individual is there to ensure that any and all food safety standards are upheld at all times, with no exception.

The acute attention we pay to QA and food safety does not end there, however. As a producer of foodstuffs, we make it our business to ensure that every member of our staff is informed about and trained on QA and food safety regulations. This helps us to embed these important aspects into the very fabric of our organisation, allowing each member of our staff to fully understand and appreciate the importance thereof.

Cape Deli is Food Standards Agency (FSA) certified, Halaal certified and holds a DAFF (Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries) Export Certificate, allowing us to export our products to other countries.

Because we are so confident in our compliance with QA and food safety standards, we actively encourage our retailer clients to visit us at our premises for an on-site inspection to view our food safety protocols in action.
